I don’t really care for fixed-width pens, but it might be time to acquire a couple more.  Also a ruler with an actually straight edge.  The ruler I’m using is an old wooden one, all chipped down the side.  You’ll notice the combined effect of these tools in door frames, hallways, and other straight-line areas.
