Bordercrash 107
I know what you’re thinking: This lettering is terrible. And it is.
But… I woke up to the fact that I was doing too much digitally. I’m actually a lot faster when all that stuff that was being done on the computer – the panel borders, the word balloons, the lettering – is done by hand. I mean, theoretically, that digital workflow can be very efficient, but what it really means to me is a block of time to do the art, then a block of time to do the post-production. It’s hard enough setting aside time to do one of those. So, now, it’s going to be much more organic. I still correct black levels digitally, then re size and upload of course, but today was the first time ever that it’s taken me 5 minutes to do all that.
EDIT: I fixed the lettering. It was driving me crazy.
It’s the slow season at the Stratosphere. I took some shifts up there and was able to complete this over four hours or so.
