This is another gag that I wrote about ten years ago.  I don’t know how well it fits here, but I like it.

The art world is so ripe with comedy.  I recently read an interview of an artist-turned-gallery-owner.  He said, in the article: “Artists are the most important people in the world.”

No we’re not, dude.  We’re not even the tenth-most important people in the world.  Here are the most important people in the world:

1. Moms
2. Farmers
3. People that fix our sewers.
4. The guy who invented the animated GIF
5. People who build houses
6. The team that made Mega Man II
7. Joel and Mike from MST3K
8. Henry Ford tied with Alexander Graham Bell
9. Muricans
10. Larry the Cable Guy
11. Artists
